Dogri Sanstha organizes Kavi Goshthi

JAMMU, Sept 26: Dogri Sanstha Jammu organized Kavi Goshthi in Dogri language in which prominent poets Puran Chander Sharma, Randhir Singh Raipuria, Kuldeep Kippi, Ashok Khajuria, Abdul Kundria, Usha Kiran, Shashi Padha and Chanchal Bhasin recited their poems.
While presiding over Kavi Goshthi, Sahitya Akademi awarded prolific Dogri writer Prakash Premi said that organizing regular literary activities are must to carry on the torch of a movement for our mother tongue. He complemented all the poets and poetesses for use of captivating words to portray thought provoking contents through their creations. He said that it is appreciable that Dogri Sanstha that was formed way back in 1944 with a pious mission of providing platforms to aspiring talents throughout Duggar Pradesh is very active it its approach. He hoped that expectations are always very high from Dogri Sanstha and hoped that it will continue to reach even the remotest of areas and come up to the expectations of dogri lovers.
The program was conducted by eminent dogri playwright and short story writer Jagdeep Dubey. Pawan Verma, famous Theatre activist and dogri writer while presenting vote of thanks said that Dogri Sanstha will continue organizing such literary meets online as well as offline also. He provided technical support also for smooth conduct of program.
The program was watched and appreciated throughout Indian and abroad as will online on face book page of Dogri Sanstha.
