Several atistes to perform in devotional song competition

JAMMU, Sept 29: All India Devotional Song Competition as a part of Navratra Festival 2022 in its 3rd day was inaugurated today at Yog Ashram Complex in the evening by lighting of a traditional lamp by Ravi Kumar celebrity Singer in presence of Swami Yoganand ji Maharaj, Chairman All India Devotional Song Committee & President Hotel Association Katra Rakesh Wazir,Judges of the Competition, Sonu Thakur. Gautam Sharma,Sohan Chand etc.
On the third night of the All India Devotional Song Competition, Katra 2022, Vicky Wadalli from Pathankot took 1st position, Chetan Sanmotra from Katra stood 2nd & Reema Devi from Kanyala and Aditya from Jammu bagged the 3rd position respectively among the 11 auditioned participants and were provided with the cash prizes of 10,000/- , 5,000/-and 3,000/- each, by the distinguished guest.
Wazir while speaking on the occasion elaborated that Winners of previous Mega Finals of All India Devotional Song Competition who are lined up for their performances in the event include Rajan Gill on 30th Sept. Ananya Sharma on 1st Oct., Anjusha Sharma & Kiran Baba on 2nd Oct. Sonali Dogra on 3rd Oct. and Naveen Punjabi on 4th Oct.
The Grand finale of the All India Devotional Song Competition will be held on 4th of Oct. and winners will be awarded with gold amounting to Rs. 3 Lakh and a recording contract with Venus Records &Tapes ltd and likewise the runners up will get gold worth 01 lac and 50,000/- respectively.
The Devotional Song Competition was adjudged by the panels of experts in music including Dr. Surinder Sharma Head of the department Govt. Degree College Sanjoli Himachal Pradesh & Dr. Anupma Sharma Ex.HOD PG Music Department, Government College Parade and Dr. CL Verma, Ex Chairman, Post Graduate University of Himachal Pradesh.
Celebrity singer and Former winner of All India Devotional Song Competition Ravi Raghuvanshi graced the occasion with his stunning performances.
The proceeding of Competition was conducted by Rakesh Wazir who is also the Chairman of the said Competition. While speaking on the occasion he said that preliminary rounds of the competition will continue till 1st Oct and any one can enroll by simply making a call on 9419915907.The live telecast of the event is available on PTC Punjabi Gold from 9 PM onwards daily.
