| UFLEX, Indian Red Cross Society organize blood donation camp | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 1: Unit ll, SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, Jammu in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society. Jammu Region and Blood Transfusion Department. Govt. Medical College, Jammu organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Voluntary Blood Donation Day today at Bari Brahmana, Jammu. The theme of this year is "Donating Blood is an Act of Solidarity. Join The Effort And Save Lives. Besides this Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region has also started the drive for organizing Blood Donation Camps w.e.f 17" September, 2022 and organized more than 5 blood Donation Camps in different locations on the birthday Celebrations of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi Jee. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Sat Pal Shama, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region Parveen Tripathi, General Manager and Ajay Chauhan HR Head. UFLEX Ltd. Unit No.ll. While speaking on the occasion, Sat Pal Shama appreciated the spirit of discipline, devotion and dedication of the team of M/S UFLEX Limited Unit ll who come forward and organized a blood donation camp on the eve of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day and requested them to organize such type of more and more blood donation camps in future also so that to maintain adequate supplies and timely access to safe blood transfusion and precious human lives. He further lauded the role of UFLEX especially to the officers/officials who donated blood voluntarily in the said camp The Camp was supervised by Manish Shama VC Dispensary UFLEX Ltd. and the team of Blood Bank GMC, Jammu headed by Dr. Salvi Shama and Red Cross Society. The Blood Donation Camp ended a good note and response in which around 25 units of blood collected. |
