JKHCBA, Rural Sports Club launch plantation drive

JAMMU, Oct 1: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu in collaboration with J&K Rural Sports Club Jammu, launched a plantation drive in Janipura Court Complex in the sweet memory of its members who lost their lives during Covid-19 pandemic period. The plantation of Chinars was conducted in the sweet memory of B.S. Slathia Sr. Adv who was former president of the Bar Association, N.P. Kotwal former secretary of Bar Association. K.K. Sharma S. Karanbir Singh, M.L. Sharma, Prabhjeet Kour, S. Bhagat Singh, Shaqir Hussain, Sikander Khan, Ravinder Raina, Riaz Ahmed Buchh and Jyoti Sharma.
The President of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu M.K. Bhardwaj Sr. Adv accompanied by Learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu Sanjay Parihar and other office bearers namely Surjeet Singh Andotra general secretary, Aditya Sharma joint secretary and Amandeep Singh, treasurer and Advocates H.C. Jalmeria, C.M. Sharma, Pawan Manni, S. Parvinder Singh Micky, Sanjay Kakkar, Dewakar Sharma, Narinder Sharma, Umesh Sharma, Rajesh Thappa, S. Gagandeep Singh Lucky vice president YLA, Karanjit Singh Johal Jt. Secy YLA, S. Harbhajan Singh, S. Baldev Singh (Senior), S. Baldev Singh (Junior), Manjeet Singh Sarkaria, S. Paramvir Singh Pradhan, Amandeep Sharma, Dharamveer, Shwait Khajuria, Varun Kotwal, Akash Kotwal, and S. Narinder Singh president along with Ravtej Singh gen. secy. of J&K Rural Sports Club Jammu planted Chinars in the lawns of High Court and District Court Complex, Janipur Jammu today. The plantation shall be continued for few more days by the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu.
By this plantation drive, the Bar Association intends to improve the environment of the Court Complex and also to remember the services of its late members rendered for the cause of Bar Association and general public.
