Sant Nirankari Mandal donates 141 units of blood

KATHUA, Oct 2: With the divine blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha ji Maharaj Sant Nirankari Mandal branch Kathua organized a voluntarily Blood Donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Kathua. The camp was held under the banner of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation the socio economic wing of SNM.
The camp was inaugurated by Choudhary Rajinder Singh Babby President Muncipal Council Kathua, while speaking on the occasion he said that Sant Nirankari Mission is working towards the welfare of humankind selflessly and doing so through blood donation is a priceless gift to the person whose life has been saved.
Ajit Singh Zonal Incharge, Jammu said that the first Blood Camp was organized in Delhi in Nov, 1986, during Annual Sant Samagam and Baba Hardev Singh Ji inaugurated this Camp. And since then, for last 36 years Blood Donation Camps are being organized by this Mission. Baba Hardev Singh Ji gave the message to the world that our "blood should flow in veins not in drains" so devotees of our mission are always ready to render their selfless services and with the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudhiksha Ji and this way the Campaign is going on. From time to time our Mission is organizing Cleanliness Campaigns, tree plantation, free eye checkup camps, medical camps and also helping people during natural disasters and mission is also organizing various schemes for women Empowerment and Children Welfare. For all these activities Mission is honored by various State Govts. from time to time.
Babu Ram Sanyojak branch Kathua welcomed all and presented the vote of thanks.
Other dignitaries presented on the occasion Dr Shallu Blood Bank GMC Jammu, Dr Sonia Blood Bank GMC Kathua, Om Prakash Indian red cross society kathua and several senior citizens and social workers of the society.
The camp was held in collaboration with blood & transfusion dept. of Govt. Medical College Jammu, Govt. Medical College Kathua, Indian Red Cross Society & JKSACS.
