Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 5: Home Minister Amit Shah’s J&K visit will pace-up the development process in the Union Territory as close contact with the people will help the visiting minister to have firsthand knowledge of the aspirations of the people and to better understand their problems.
This was said by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta in a handout released here on Wednesday.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the journey of HM Shah in J&K has been planned keeping in mind the wide-ranging issues of the people of both the regions and the minister getting full knowledge about the same in one go.
He said that interactions with different segments of society will help the HM Shah to chalk out development path for the Union Territory in the near future thus accelerating the development process in the right direction to satiate people’s aspirations.
The senior BJP leader said that the Home Minister’s visit to UT has rekindled the hopes of the people and their expectations have now become even bigger and the gestures shown by the HM are convincing that every section of the society across the UT will get justice as far as their demands and issues are concerned.
Kavinder said that decades long demand of reservation to Paharis has been fulfilled and in the same context many other aspirations will take wings and the people will remember the visit HM Shah for years together as much is going to change after this visit as far as development and other aspirations of the people are concerned. He asked the people of J&K to provide wholehearted support to BJP for the reason that what this party has given to the people no other political outfit has done the same.
Meanwhile, Kavinder took part in the Dussehra celebrations as Chief Guest at Dussehra Ground, Apsara Road and asked the people to take cues from the lessons given by the great Indian epics to make their lives meaningful and worthy.
