Jammu, Oct 9: The super-charged final match of the IPSC Under-19 Girls Soccer Tournament 2022 was played at Pinegrove School Dharampur with surging adrenaline, between Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer and Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani Brig. R.S. Rana from Comdt. 14 GTC Subathu was the Chief Guest for the occasion as. At the outset, the Girl's Pipe Band of Pinegrove School enthralled the gathering with their display. Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani won the match 5-0 and were declared Champions of the Tournament with the dulcet tones of the Boys' Brass Band. The Winner and Runner-up teams were felicitated with trophies, mementos and certificates by the Chief Guest. All rounder Ritul Raj of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani walked away with the 'Player of the Match' and ‘Best Mid Fielder’ award. Diksha of Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer was adjudged as the ‘Best Defender’, Shivani Kumari of Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani proved herself as the ‘Best Goal Keeper’, Ananya Goyal of The Lawrence School, Sanawar was awarded the title of ‘Highest Scorer’ having scored 8 goals and Subekcha Limbu of Pinegrove School displayed her brilliance as the 'Upcoming Player of the Tournament'. All the Referees, Coaches and Managers who helped in making the competition a success were also honored with mementos and certificates. In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated Capt. AJ Singh, Executive Director of Pinegrove School and Mr. Surinder Mehta, Head Sports for a successful event and declared the tournament closed. The echo of the National Anthem brought out the charm of India's unity in this national event.
