National Art show concludes at Haridwar

JAMMU, Oct 11: A National Exhibition of Art organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts, Jammu (J&K) in collaboration with Anand Art Mission, Haridwar (Uttrakhand) and Snehil, Dehradun (Uttrakhand) at Gallery T- 47, Shivalik Nagar, BHEL, Haridwar concluded. The art works of forty senior and young artists from various states of the country were displayed in the exhibition. The art of four artists of Jammu & Kashmir viz. Jang S Verman, OP Sharma, Sushma Sahni and Shivani Koul Bhat, was displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition inaugurated by VS Rahi, a veteran artist from New Delhi on 7th October, 2022, drew the attention of general public, art lovers, artists and art critics etc.
Founder Director, JKCCA, OP Sharma, informed that this exhibition has been a physical national level art exhibition organized by JKCCA outside the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir after the hard times of Covid- 19 Pandemic. He said that JKCCA has organized 13 international art exhibitions and a large number of national and other art exhibitions (physical and online), including regular shows during Covid- 19 Pandemic. It may be mentioned here that the NGO has been voluntarily working with the aim to promote and preserve art, literature and culture, since its inception during 1999.
The other artists whose art works were displayed in the show included VS Rahi (veteran artist), Dr. AK Dixit and Dr. Rita Kashyap, Delhi; Dr. Mamta Singh, Dr. Monika Bhatnagar, Dr. Rita Tewari, Shivani, Indira, Dr. Vinita Dahiya, Sumit Kaur Kapoor, Anshu Mohan, Ramandeep, Jaishree, Dr. Vasudha Joshi and Ravindera Singh Padiyar, Dehradun; Ashok Gupta, Parmod Kumar Verma, Dr. Pooja Panwar, Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, Jai Gupta and Pramod Kulshrestha, Haridwar; Dr. Alka Arya, Roorkee; Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma, Gorakhpur, Prof. Sunil Saxena and Pratima Singh, Lucknow; Prof. Saroj Rani, Varanasi, and Dr. Mamta Verma, Prayagraj; K S Gill, Dharminder Sharma and Atul Mattoo, Amritsar; and Gaytri, Hoshiarpur; Amanpreet Kaur and Pankaj Raina, Mohali; Minu Dey, Kolkatta and Dr. Sabita Nag, Bankura; and Shantla Madhu, Bangalore.
