| DC Jammu discusses preparations for Jan Abhiyan ahead of B2V4 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 17: Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa today convened a meeting with the officers of line departments and gave them the instructions regarding preparation for Jan Abhiyan ahead of fourth phase of Back to Village Program. ADC Adm, Satish Sharma; CPO, Yoginder Katoch; ACR, Piyush Dhotra; ACD, Preeti Sharma; CMO, Dr Harbaksh Singh, besides SDMs, BDOs and senior officers from concerned departments were present in the meeting. At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner asked the district officers to furnish the information regarding status of works taken up under Back to Village program I, II & III. She instructed all the officers to report the status of completed/uncompleted works. The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officials for saturation of at least one deliverable per Panchayat. She asked the District Lead Manager to organise awareness camps regarding self employment schemes. She also asked the DYSSO to organise one game per Panchayat, while the BDOs were asked to organise Gram Sabhas in their respective areas.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officials for plantation and cleanliness in each and every Panchayat. She asked the DSWO to organise camps for Divyangs for distribution of disability cards, poshan vatikas and awareness of other schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all the field functionaries to remain stationed in their respective areas. |
