Drive against bovine smugglers continues in Reasi

REASI, Nov 8: Drive against bovines smuggling in District Reasi continues, teams of District Police Reasi under the Supervision of Amit Gupta-Sr Superintendent of Police Reasi laid special nakas, arrested 05 Bovine Smugglers and rescued 12 bovines from their possession.
Team of Police Post Dera Baba led by PSI Jarnail Singh foiled one bovines smuggling attempt in Chhapanoo area of District Reasi In which one smuggler namely Salman Khan S/O Zakir Ali R/O Panjgrain Nagrota, Tehsil and District Jammu got arrested while smuggling two bovines in vehicle bearing Registration No. JK02CV-1420, bovines rescued and vehicle got Seized.
In this regards case FIR No. 273/2022 U/S 188 IPC, 11 PC Act stands registered at Police Station Reasi.
In another incident Team of Police Post Dera Baba apprehended one more bovine smuggler namely Mushtaq Ali S/O Mohd Shotto R/O Krimchi, Distt Udhampur and rescued 02 bovines from their possession which they were transporting in a vehicle bearing registration number JK11A- 5485.
In this regards a case FIR No. 274/2022 U/S 188 IPC, 11 PC Act stands registered at Police Station Reasi. Accused got arrested on the spot and vehicle got seized.
Team of Police Station Pouni led by PSI Hiteshwar Singh intercepted one vehicle bearing Registration No. JK02CP-6897 which was coming from Jammu towards Rajouri and rescued 04 bovines from Talib Hussain S/O Mohd. Musa R/O Dhanwal Teh. Akhnoor District Jammu. Accused got arrested on the spot and vehicle got seized.
In this regards case FIR No. 62/2022 US 188 IPC 11 (1)(A) stands registered at Police Station Pouni.
In one more incident on a specific information, a special naka established at Mari area of Police Station Pouni by SHO Suman, intercepted and apprehended two person namely Billo & Munir Hussain both S/O Mohd Yousaf R/O Jhandi Tehsil Thakrakote District Reasi and rescued 04 bovines from their possession. Accused got arrested on the spot and Investigation started.
In this regard a case FIR No. 64/2022 U/S 188 IPC 11 (1) (A) stands registered at Police Station Pouni.
Arrests were made by police teams under the supervision of Dysp Headquarters Iftkhar Ahmed & Surjeet Bhagat ASP Reasi.
Pertinently Reasi Police under the supervision of Amit Gupta SSP Reasi established zero tolerance towards Bovines Smuggling and is committed to eradicate the menace of Bovine Smuggling from the District.
