| Police foils bovine smuggling bid, 5 arrested 3 vehicles seized | | | Early Times Report
REASI, Nov 14: Drive against Bovines Smuggling in District Reasi continues, teams of District Police Reasi under the Supervision of Amit Gupta-Sr Superintendent of Police Reasi laid special nakas, arrested 05 Bovine Smugglers and rescued 05 bovine animals from their possession.
In this drive 03 Vehicles used for transportation of bovines also got seized.
During checking in the Pouni area teams of Police Station Pouni of Led by Insp Suman Singh under the supervision of Iftkhar Ahmed Dysp Hqtrs Reasi intercepted 03 vehicles Tata mobile bearing reg no Jk 20B/0521, Jk20A/2731 and JK 11/F 5231 and rescued 05 Bovines which were being transported without proper permission.
In this regards case FIR no 67&68 / 2022 US 188 IPC & 11 (a) PCA Act Stands registered at Police Station Pouni and investigation initiated.
During investigations Accused namely Azam Hussain S/O Mohd Hussain, Akash Bali S/O Sushil Bali both resident of Nava patrara tehsil sunderbani district Rajouri, Kirpal Singh S/O Balwant Singh residence of Sayoor tehsil sunderbani Rajouri, Tanveer Ahmed son of Maneer Ahmed R/o Kharal Reasi, Parkash S/O Nika Ram R/O Khawas Rajouri got arrested in the cases.
Arrests were made by police teams under the supervision of Dysp Headquarters Iftkhar Ahmed & Surjeet Bhagat ASP Reasi.
Pertinently Reasi Police under the supervision of Amit Gupta SSP Reasi established zero tolerance towards Bovines Smuggling and is committed to eradicate the menace of Bovine Smuggling from the District. |
