Infighting in J&K Congress: Leader exposes ex-minister in social media group
11/17/2022 10:54:06 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 17: Although all loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad have quitted the party to join the newly formed political outfit of their political mentor, the problem of the infighting in the Jammu and Kashmir Congress has yet not solved.
Instead of ironing out their differences to face the challenge of the newly floated political party of Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress leaders continued to undermine the authority of each other to maintain their dominance in the party.
Highly placed sources said that a couple of days ago, a senior Congress leader exposed a former party minister in the social media group of the party. “In the social media group of the office bearers of the Congress leaders, the leader termed former minister as one of the“most corrupt minister” of the previous coalition regime in which Congress was partner”, sources said.
Infuriated over the social media post of the party colleague, the former minister who himself holds an important position in the party brought the matter to the notice of the party president Vikar Rasool Wani.
Sources said that the former minister asked J&K Congress president Vikar Rasool Wani to immediately issue a show-cause notice to the said leader for indulging in an act of indiscipline.
“As of now, no action has been taken against the said leader because the leader has warned that he will expose the former minister with authentic proofs and evidence on social media”, sources said.
