Child Rights week celebrated

Jammu, Nov 20: CHILD RIGHTS WEEK celebrated in J&K from 14 th Nov to 20 th Nov an Initiative by Dr Navneet Kaur Founder Chairperson of NGO SUPPORT & National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India .
Children are the future of our country . We all need to ensure they receive the rights and a good start in their budding childhood .
NGO SUPPORT works towards building a Country and an environment where every child receives quality education and an opportunity to build a better future NGO SUPPORT's Education Program of HAMARI KAKSHA focuses on the underprivileged children's all-round development by making relevant stakeholders like volunteers, parents, teachers, private players and the government accountable for child rights.
The Child Rights Week is celebrated universally from 14th (Children's Day) to 20th November (International Child Rights Day), NGO SUPPORT with its partner organizations National Human Rights Social Justice Council, Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region , ISBTI ( Indian Society for Blood Transfusion and Immunohemathology , , Government Medical College , YBA & Childline Organisation at Red Cross Bhawan Jammu organised events with children in the SMGS Hospital ,Balgrain Orphanage , Govt High School Gandhi Nagar , Channi Himmat , Govt Higher Secondary School Channi Himmat , Corporative Schools , GD Goenka Toddlers School , and with the Children of the Urban Slums in various slum pockets to spread awareness about child rights.
Programs on awareness of Child Rights were conducted where Children were engaged through activities like organizing Talk Shows , Debates on Child Rights , Group discussions were held developing learning more ubout the importance of Child Rights . Prizes were distributed in schools , slogan writing, discussion on child rights, child march, poster making and drawing competitions were held among the Children's .
