| Civil Defence organizes awareness camp | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 25: One day Awareness programme on First Aid, CPR, Choking, Fire Fighting and other emergency rescue methods was organized in the Central Sanskrit University Kot Bhalwal, Jammu under the joint aegis of National Service Scheme Unit and Sports , Culture and Youth Services Center of the University. The programme was organized in the premises of the Central Sanskrit University Shri Ranbir Campus Kot Bhalwal, Jammu in which (350) Students of the University participated. The Program was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP. Rajesh Sharma, I/C Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu who gave awareness about basic knowledge through demonstration by Civil Defence experts. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster. On the occasion a lecture was also delivered by Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role of Civil Defence wardens in the organization. Professor Satish Kumar Kapoor, Director Incharge of the Campus appreciated the role of Civil Defence in spreading awareness about disaster management and rescue. Beside others R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Dr. Gopal Verma Head of Sports and Culture, Dr. Yogendera Dixit Program Coordinator, Prof. Shyamdev Mishra, Dr. Kailash Chandra, Dr. Rishi Raj, Dr. Ghanshyam Mishra, Dr. Madan Kumar Jha, Dr. Ratan Pandey, Dr. Tej Nth Paudel and other staff of the university Campus were also present on the occasion. |
