Day 3 lawyers annual sports meet inaugurated

JAMMU, Nov 27: Day three of the Lawyers Annual Sports meet was inaugurated by Ramesh Kumar (Divisional Commissioner), Deputy Commissioner Avny Lavasa, Senior Advocate Mohd Aslam Goni, Senior Advocate Surinder Kour and Joint Commisioner JMC Kulbhushan Khajuria and.
President Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association M.K. Bhardwaj (Sr.Adv) along with Office Bearers S. Mohinder Pal Singh Palli Adv, Vice President through Video conference on line, Surjeet Singh Andotra Adv. General Secretary, Aditya Sharma Adv, Joint Secretary, Amandeep Singh Cashier, and many senior and young lawyers/ members of the JKHCBA, Jammu welcomed and greeted the Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner by presenting the beaquet. Both the officers enjoyed the high tea along with the advocates and even tried their hands in the field of cricket by playing some shots.
First match was played between Friends Cricket Club and Sachin XI, in which Friends Cricket Club after winning the toss chose to Bowl first. Sachin XI scored 99 runs in the quota of 10 overs. Rajat was the highest scorer with 38 runs, Sachin scored 18 runs while Kamal Magotra Took 2 Wickets, Vikram, Dijvijay, Amar, Moti and Mool Singh took 1 wicket each for Friends Cricket Club. In reply Friends Cricket Club were bundled out for 69 runs. Kamal was the highest scorer with 26 runs, Moti Sharma scored 21 runs and Rajat took 2 wickets and Amit Bhardwaj took 1 wicket. Sachin XI won the match with 30 runs.
Second match was played between The Enforcers XI and Vikram XI, in which Vikram XI after winning the toss batted first and scored 71 runs in 10 Overs. Sanpreet Singh was the highest scorer with 14 runs, whereas Vijayendra Slathia scored 10 while Vishal took 3 wickets, Nitin Gupta took 2 wickets and Avinash took 1 wicket. Chasing the target The Enforcers XI scored 72 runs. Vishal was the highest scorer with 36 runs and Ntin Gupta scored 21 runs while Vijayendra took 1 wicket. The Enforcers XI won the match with 9 wickets.
Third match was played between Spartan XI and Udhampur XI, in which Spartan XI after winning the toss bat first. Spartan XI scored 89 runs in the allotted Overs. Bhanu Rakwal is the first batsman who scored 50 runs in this tournament, whereas Karan Sharma scored 20 runs while Rohin and Shubham took 1 wicket each. Chasing the target Udhampur XI scored 93 runs. Gourav and Anoop were the highest scorer with 39 runs whereas while Sobiat took 1 Wicket, The Udhampur XI won the match with 9 wickets.
Fourth match was played between SPRM and Manhas Warriors, in which Manhas Warriors after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 145 runs. Sohit was the highest scorer in this tournament with 69 runs, Vishal scored 22 and Chander Dev Manhas scored 19 while Sumeer and Ayushmaan took 1 wicket each. In reply SPRM were bundled out for 90 runs. Mohsin was the highest scorer with 21 runs, Sohit took 2 wickets, Pawandev and Akhil took 1 wicket each. Manhas Warriors won the match with 55 runs.
