Advisor Bhatnagar participates in Guru Teg Bahadur Balidan Divas at MBSCET Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 29: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today remarked that our country is progressing rapidly and by following the ideals and teachings of persons like Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, our country will soon become of one the most developed nations in the world. The Advisor made these remarks while speaking at the Shri Teg Bahadur Balidan Divas at Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET) here.
The Balidan Divas was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) in honour of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji and was attended by representatives of BVP, faculty members of college and large number of students.
Addressing the gathering, Advisor Bhatnagar highlighted that the morals and values reflected in the teachings of Shri Teg Bahadur Ji pass on a great message to the youth of our country who are the torch bearers of our society.
The Advisor added that by following the principles of Guru Ji, our country will achieve the place it deserves across the globe. He made out that India is known for harbouring such sages and seers whose teachings not only are spiritually uplifting but provides greatest ideals for human race to excel. He observed that it is these teachings that has enriched our civilization from times immemorial and gave us this unique identity in the world.
While speaking on National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Advisor Bhatnagar underlined that that the UT of J&K is progressing rapidly in the implementation of NEP across J&K and it is one of the first among UTs across the country to successfully implement it.
The Advisor on the occasion also paid glowing tributes to Shri Teg Bahadur Ji.
On the occasion a debate on 'Life and Teachings of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji ' was also organised between different schools of Jammu district.
