Amit holds Industry Meet at Bari Brahmana as a prelude for MTMP 2.0

Bari Brahmana, Samba, Dec 3: Secretary, Mining Department Amit Sharma today held an all-important meeting with industry heads of one of the oldest and biggest Industrial Estates Bari Brahmana of J&K wherein he has been appointed as Visiting Officer to ensure smooth functioning of all departments under My Town My Pride (MTMP) 2.0 programme. This meeting was attended by President Bari Brahmana Municipal Committee Bhachan Lal, Tehsildar Bari Brahmana Diksha Bamba, General Manager DIC Jammu, EO Bari Brahmana Municipal Committee Jodh Raj, SHO Bari Brahmana I.P Singh, HR heads of top industrial units like Dabur, Uflex, Emcure Pharma, Jai Beverages, Shivalaya Construction & others.
Secretary Mining Amit Sharma mentioned main features of MTMP 2.0 during the industrial interaction meeting while emphasising that Bari Brahmana holds the potential to become a model town of J&K wherein Industry can make a phenomenal contribution to take this town to new heights in terms of employment generation, CSR initiatives, civil action plan, etc. As disclosed by the Visiting Officer, the major focus of this Industrial Meet as a prelude to MTMP 2.0 is to channelise the energy and potential of unemployed youth by absorbing them in major industrial plants functional inside Bari Brahmana Industrial Estate and also, contributing phenomenally towards CSR activities in this town like maintenance of parks, green strips, orphan children education, provision of led lights and PTZ cameras in all 13 wards towards which there was a very positive response by all industrial units.
Also, Amit Sharma discussed multiple issues and asked about the progress achieved in ongoing Shehri Jan Abhiyan in which different departments have installed their respective stalls in which they are disseminating information apart from saturating targets set under various ongoing schemes. These officers further assured that that everything in MTMP 2.0 is going smoothly in Bari Brahmana as per schedule and there shall be massive involvement of public of the town in upcoming days including visit to the cultural programmes and rozgar mela to be organised here as well as giving suggestions towards the city decongestion plan, slum management plan, city beautification plan, etc.
Before culminating of meeting, President Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana expressed deep gratitude towards Visiting Officer Amit Sharma for organising this prior Industrial Interaction before his upcoming visit which was indeed very useful and shall bear positive results in times to come.
Also, team Bari Brahmana expressed delight that Visiting Officer shall be the Prabhari of this town evening after the culmination of MTMP 2.0 for a long time which shall helping in getting early redressal of all genuine issues of the Bari Brahmana town.
