Bharat Vikas Parishad conducts Bharat Ko Jano Quiz Competition

JAMMU, Dec 3: Bharat Vikas Parishad Jammu Kashmir Prant conducted Bharat ko Jano Quiz Competition today in collaboration with Institution of Engineers, Channi Himmat, Jammu in their Auditorium. On this occasion Rajinder Sharma Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation was Chief Guest where as Dev Raj Sharma, Regional President, BVP (North-1) was Guest of Honour, Er. Sachin Tickoo, Honorary Secretary, Institution of Engineers (IEI) was Special Guest and Kumud Mehta, Regional Secretary BVP (Sewa) was Regional Observer. The competition commenced with lightening of Traditional Lamp by Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and State/Regional Team followed by Vandematram. Narinder Misra, Prant General Secretary welcomed the participants and dignitaries.
Ashok Khajuria, Prant President BVP threw light on the objectives of Bharat Vikas Parishad and various achievements of BVP. Chief Guest lauded the role of Bharat Vikas Parishad which work for Sanskars and is running various Sewa Projects selflessly. Mayor had also introduction with the children and had all words of praise for the children.
Arun Sharma, Regional Jt. General Secretary gave briefing about the organisation and blessed the participants and asked them to perform their best in competition. 12 teams from various branches of BVP participated in Senior Category and 12 Teams in Junior category. Er. Gopal Sharma, Regional Secretary BVP Sanskar(N) narrated the Rules and regulation of the competition and briefed the importance of the function. In the neck to neck Competition of Junior category students, Spring dales Hr. Sec. School, Kathua bagged 1st Prize., K.V No.1, Gandhi Nagar got 2nd Prize and Dogra Hr. Secondary School, Shastri Nagar settled at 3rd Prize.
