JAMMU, Dec 10: To epitomize the real purpose of the objectives of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity for District Doda, Today the rally was organized by the Department of Food Safety DFCO Doda in collaboration with District Administration Doda and Education Department District Doda which was flagged off by Dr.Ravi Kumar Bharti - Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda (Adjudicating Officer FSSA Distt. Doda), Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti was accompanied by Pralad Bhagat Chief Education Officer Doda, Ayaz Mugal, DEPO Doda Ramesh Babu, Zonal Education Officer Doda, Rubi Naz Principal Govt. Hr. Sec. School (Boys) Sh.Imran Tantary Nodal Officer Eat Right School Doda, Mohsin Zonal Nodal Officer and esteemed Staff members HR. Sec. School (Boys) Doda and esteemed Staff members of the 04 Schools of the cluster the rally was earmarked with zest, zeal and fervor, in this rally students and staff of first ever Cluster having 04 Schools with more than 100 participants were part of this Compaign, this rally started from Clock Tower HQ Doda City enrouted via market and culminated at Boys Higher Sec. School Doda for final address where hours long broad Spectrum elaborated and exploration of Eat Right School and made point by point.
Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda inspired the Department for its dedication and solidity and also encouraged the participants for the exploration of the National initiative of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity with for an extensive outreach with discipline and Committment, this rally of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity is a mass awareness for the Consumers to Eat Right, Eat Healthy and Eat Fortified. To Suffice the Objectives and main motto of the rally, the students and staff members made the atmosphere spectacular across the markets and sourundings with the slogans of Awo kum karain thora Tail chini aur Namak". To project the significance of the Rally & making it successful the Department including its Enforcement Officers Javed Iqbal Bangroo, FSO Addl. HQ Doda, Mohd. Amin Khan Food Safety Officer, Gondoh, Ghat and Bhaderwah indeed put in tremendous efforts and active progress for achieving success to sustain valued targets.
Taraq Ahmad Butt, Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety DFCO Doda led the Expedition under the Aegis of FSSAI and the valuable directions of Commissionerate FDA J&K headed by Shakeel ul Rehman Commissioner FDA J&K Sgr. for making max.coverage of the Schools under Eat Right India especially adding up in School Curriculum the Books like yellow books 1,2, pink Book, Activity Book from Nidhi App which were distributed amongst the Heads of the Schools of these Clusters as a start up ,meanwhile ,other initiatives were also implemented including MDM Registrations under FSSA, Magic Box Demonstartions, Debate and painting competitions were also held ,during the programs of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity the Schools including Govt. GMS Nagri Doda, Govt. City MS Doda, Govt. MS Sah Mohalla and Govt. GGMS Doda have already been imparted with such innovative Movements of Govt.of India including Food Fortification, Hygienic practices, sanitation, Cleanliness and conceptulization about Healthy diet, Good diet and Healthy eating Habits with iron supplements and Deworming services, these Schools are at the stage of monitoring, evaluation and Certifcation on the portal Eat Right School. As on date these Schools are registered on the portal and HWC certificates have been issued properly.
The Department also displayed motivational messages on pole kiosks at different locations Added with digital media outreaches, Hoardings, Banner, posters under the Compaign of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity at Doda.
The vision of Eat Right School and Eat Right Creativity is to prosper the Nation at its School level to keep the children updated, Healthy, fit and sound
In his address Chief Guest, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti Addl. Deputy Commissioner Doda highlighted the objectives of such events and especially about the ongoing rally and said such programs are envisioned as massive outreach to the citizens to create & build awareness on Safe & healthy diets through an interactive and informative model. He complimented the efforts of the Department of Food safety, Doda & tireless efforts of the Organisers & stressed the need for holding such workshops & such camps at Tehsil levels to generate more &.more awareness about the" Eat Right, Eat Healthy & Eat Fortified".
He further impressed upon the department to double the efforts in ensuring safe & wholesome food to the Consumers.
Taraq Ahmad Butt Assistant Commissioner Food Safety DFCO Doda in his welcome address urged upon the participants to adopt healthy food habits and avoid junk food habits as much as possible to be away from food borne diseases.
