JAMMU, Dec 12: One day awareness programme was held at NCC camp Nagrota, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP, Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Man-made Disaster.
The programme was organized in the premises of the NCC Camp Nagrota where 183 NCC cadets including 96 girl's students and 87 boy's students participated. Col. S.P Tewari Camp Commander appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such important awareness-cum-demonstration programme.
Besides Anil Kumar S.M NCC Camp, R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini S.I Incharge Traings Civil Defence and other staff of the NCC Camp Nagrota were present on the occasion.
