| Traffic police city Jammu awares the NSS cadets regarding traffic rules & regulations | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 19: In compliance with the directions of Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma, JKPS SSP Traffic City Jammu and Sh. Raj Paul Singh, JKPS ASP Traffic City Jammu, A special drive has been launched by Sh. Neeraj Padyar Dy. SP Traffic City Rural Jammu in which NSS Cadets of Govt. Degree College Nagrota were called at TCP Nagrota Jammu.
Traffic awareness and visible Traffic violation check cum training has been given to 50 no. of NSS Volunteers by Dy. SP Traffic City Rural Jammu. The cadets were later splitted and deployed in equal proportion at 05 locations of Traffic City Jammu v.i.z Nagrota , Bus Stand , Ambphalla , Talab Tillo and Janipur as heavy traffic pressure can be observed at these locations and all jurisdictional DTI's concerned were directed for conducting Traffic Awareness Campaign cum responsibility sensitization among NSS cadets.
The aim of the drive was to guide NSS volunteers regarding Road Safety Awareness so that they can further educate/familiarize the motorists/ road users/general public/drivers etc. to protect themselves by wearing all the safety gears while driving to avoid the fatal and non fatal accidents.
The awareness programmee will continue for a week time and lectures on the Traffic rules and regulations will be delivered to NSS cadets and their services will be practically utilized on ground to gain the experience and serve the nation for better traffic management. |
