Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 19: Dreaded terror outfit, The Resistance Front or TRF has issued another threat to the innocent migrant Pandits posted in Kashmir under the Prime Minister’s Relief Package leaving the victimized community concerned about their lives.
Official sources said the Jammu and Kashmir Police received inputs about the fresh threat list issued by the TRF, whereby another list of Kashmir Pandits posted in the Valley has been made public by the terror group on its social media handles.
The letter reads that the Pandit community has “always played the victim card”. The last such threat list was reported on December 16.
The TRF, which is the offshoot of the Lashkar, is already involved in the killing of many innocents shot dead in Kashmir.
The Pandit community has been terrified due to the targeted killings and threats.
The dreaded Kashmir Fight terror portal has issued at least three threat lists against the Pandits in the recent past prompting the Union Home ministry to review the matter.
Earlier this month, the terror group threatened 57 Kashmiri Pandit employees working in the Kashmir valley as teachers under the Prime Minister's Rehabilitation Package. Kashmiri Pandits and non-Kashmiri migrants have been targeted by terrorists in the Kashmir for the last around two years in particular.
A senior official told the Early Times on the condition of anonymity that the police were seriously probing the issue adding that it was frustration on the part of Pakistan, which is unable to bear the era of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir, that the enemy country was issuing threat lists.
He said the security forces were fully prepared to foil any such nefarious designs of the terror groups adding that the security grid was committed to ensure safety and security of the migrant Pandits.
