J&K Police solve robbery case within 24 hours | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Dec 19: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have solved a robbery case within 24 hours by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen cash from them in central Kashmir's Budgam district. A police statement said on December 18 Police Station Chadoora received a written complaint from one Shakir Bashir a resident Nowpora Chadoora stating that he along with his brother Wahid Ahmad Shergojri was returning from Srinagar in their Auto load Carrier. On reaching Badipora Chadoora, one Load carrier in which 3 unknown persons were on board stopped their auto load carrier and attacked them due to which they sustained injuries. The attackers/robbers snatched a cash amount of Rs 20,000 from the driver of the load carrier and fled away from the spot. A Case under relevant section of laws was registered at Police Station Chadoora and investigations were taken up during which police working on various leads, obtained details of the suspected vehicle and succeeded to arrest all the 3 persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered the snatched cash from their possession. The vehicle used for the Commission of crime has also been seized. The involved arrested persons have been identified as Nasir Hussain, Mohd Saleem and Irfan Ali residents of Charar-e-Sharief. Charar Sharief. Further investigation into the matter is going on, that statement added. |
