Administration should reach out to doorsteps of people: Aijaz

REASI, Dec 23: Asking the administration to reach out to the door step of the people, Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister, Aijaz Ahmed Khan has demanded speed up of the developmental activities in Reasi district.
He was addressing a worker's meeting in Judda in Arnas Block in Reasi district. In his speech, Aijaz Ahmed Khan demanded road connectivity for Lower Judda to Upper Judda and Dharote to Dandli.
He also demanded that the railway junction should be started in Kori area because the area is important for the people of Gool-Gulabgarh and even for the people of Rajouri District as it too will be linked to this station.
"There is a need to develop infrastructure for tourism promotion and attraction especially in Kori i.e., highest railway bridge as the main tourist destination," he said.
He demanded the pending land compensation cases for PMGSY of Judda,Dandli, Sawlakote road should be cleared in favour of the respective families by giving them adequate compensation for the land which has been taken for the road construction by the PMGSY.
He also demanded Govt Boys High School and upgradation of Bia Gundi School in Lower Judda and implemention of Jal Shakti Mission Scheme and covered the left out habitation, special camps for Old Age Pension and handicapped people.
"The administration should reach at the door step of the people and they should not delay the developmental activities and complete the ongoing projects within a stipulated time," he said.
He also demanded that the government should ensure recruitment of local youth in railway and other projects and the skilled youth should be engaged in other projects like Sawlakote etc projects. He also demanded medical institutions in Judda and wellness centres.
