Salal Power Station organizes free medical camp under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

REASI, Dec 27: Salal Power Station organized a "Free Medical Camp" at Sai-Lanjan village under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. In which about 120 people from nearby villages received free health check-up and medicines as per their requirement. The camp was inaugurated by the Head of Salal Power Station J.C. Sarkar by cuting the ribbon in the presence of Sarpanch of Dharan Panchayat Sanjeev Singh and Panchs. Along with this, He wishes everyone good health and prosperous life. On this occasion He and his wife Sumitra Sarkar, General Manager (Electrical) Jitendra Kumar with his wife Rita Kumari and Sarpanch Sanjeev Singh lit the auspicious lamp.
On this occasion, Head of Salal Power Station expressed his gratitude to the people of Sai-Lanjan village as he said the Sai-Lanjan village has been adopted under the CSR scheme and further informed that in this year under CSR scheme, 2.5 km long unpaved road of this village will be repaired and paved. He assured to start this work this year itself. He especially appreciated the efforts of Sarpanch of Dharan Panchayat Sanjeev. He also informed about the repair work of the school and the installation of solar lights in Thanpal village of Dharan panchayat this year itself.
In this camp, Dr. Pooja Gupta, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Dheeraj Sharma and other team of Jorawar Hospital examined the health of the people and distributed medicines as per their requirement. Along with this, a total of 1000 sanitary pads were also distributed by Sumitra Sarkar to women and girls. They were explained in detail about health and hygiene by the lady doctor.
Sanjeev, Sarpanch of Dharan Panchayat thanked the NHPC management for organizing this camp and requested NHPC to carry out such works as well as various developmental works under CSR in future also.
The camp was concluded by Shriram Gupta, Senior Manager (Public Relations) of Power Station by expressing thanks to all the local people, teachers of High School Sai-Lanjan and especially Sarpanch and Panch etc.
