Dr Darakhshan, businessman Aadil awarded Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Gaurav Award

MUMBAI, Dec 27: A felicitation function was organized by Dada Sahib Phalke Film Awards Organization, Darshanik Mumbai Press Media Association, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Gaurav Sansthaan & Mother Theresa University at Chinmaya Mission Auditorium at Lodhi Road New Delhi for honoring prominent personalities from different walks of life. Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment Ramdas Athwale, Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr Drarakhshan Andrabi & Member Parliament Mahesh Sahu participated as the special guests to do the honors. Famed Bollywood director KC Bokadia received the Honorary Doctorate from Mother Theresa University and also DadaSahib Phalke Film Award for his life time contribution in cinema. Dr Andrabi was awarded with 3rd Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Gaurav Samman by Union Minister for Social Justice Ramdas Athwale for her nationalistic contribution. Aadil Durrani, the famed business man was also awarded on the occasion. Awards were given away to eminent educationist & entrepreneur Dr Varun Gupta, Business Leader Vijay Kapoor, CEO of Today Group Jawaid Rehmani Sheikh Kaleem Managing Director of Majan Group, Aarti Kumar famed Martial Arts Coach. Prominent Journalists, social activists, film personalities and artists were also awarded for their contribution in their respective fields. Union Minister Ramdass Athwale paid tributes to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and praised the organizers for awarding eminent personalities like KC Bokadia, Aadil Durrani and Dr Drarakhshan Andrabi with awards in the name of Mother Theresa, Chhatrapati Shivaji & Dada Sahib Phalke all of whom are icons of India. I her address Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that India's Amrit-Kaal is the most significant period of our history as we are all toiling to make India the World Leader in all spheres of life again. She emphasized on the need to rise to the call of visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi to contribute to the growth story of India with full prowess at command so that our command over the world management is established. "World peace & prosperity is directly proportional to India's growth at the global scene", said Dr Andrabi.
