BSF Jammu Displayed a Patriotic Band Show at SKUAST-Jammu

Jammu, Dec 27: SKUAST-Jammu in collaboration with Border Security Force organized Band Show of Patriotic Songs to grace the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Prof. J. P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu was the Chief Guest on the Occasion. Officers from 51 BN BSF viz., Sh. K. Umesh, Commandant; Sh. A.K. Singh, 2IC; Sh. Jaspal, 2IC, Sh. Vijay Prakash Choubey, Deputy Commandant; Sh. Tarsem Lal, Deputy Commandant; Sh. Vikas Sharma, Assistant Commandant and officers from SHQ, I/Nagar viz, Sh. S. K. Pankaj, Deputy Commandant; Sh. Paramjit Singh, Deputy Commandant also graced the occasion as special Guests.
The Border Security Force personnel dressed in musical attire with drums, trumpets and bagpipes presented a patriotic composition before the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students of SKUAST-Jammu.
The sunset glittering air filled with patriotic zest and echoed through length and breadth with the beats and trumpets of BSF Brass & Gorge Band Frontier HQ Paloura Jammu displaying wonderful tuning with heart touching lyrics.
It gave an opportunity to the students to witness and experience the rich music, steeped in tradition and history of the force. All the statutory officers of the university, Head(s) of the Divisions, faculty, non-teaching staff and students were present and enjoying the mesmerizing performance by the BSF personnel.
