GDCT pays tributes to its founder Masud Choudhary

 Jammu, Jan 1: The Governing Body meeting of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shah Mohammad Chowdhary Advocate. At the outset, the Trustees and other participants in the meeting condoled the untimely demise of Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary, the founder of GDCT on 16th December, 2022, and paid rich tributes to him for his commendable work he did for the upliftment of Gujjar-Bakerwal in the erstwhile State. The participants also condoled the death of Mst. Khurshed Begum elder sister of General Secretary Mohd. Sharif Chouhan, and nears and dears of Trustees who have left heavenly abode in the recent past. The Annual Calendar of the Trust for the year 2023 was also released by Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhan, Former DGP and Taj Mohi-u-Din, former Minister and founder Trustee. The Guests and Trustees were welcomed by the Chairman of the Trust. The Chairman while speaking on the occasion lauded the role of Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary for his services for the upliftment of the Community, particularly in the field of Education. Mr. Chowdhary said that Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary will be remembered by the generations to come for his contributions and assured the Trustees and participants that the trustees of the GDCT will leave no stone unturned to fulfill the dreams of Baba-e-Quom.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhan and Mr. Taj Mohi-u-Din also spoke on the occasion and shared their long association, experience and friendship with Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary. Both the dignitaries appreciated the contributions made by Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary as Police Officer and as Founder Vice-Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri and Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust. They paid rich tributes to Choudhary Sahib and said that his contributions will be remembered by the Community and it will be a true homage to him, if the goal conceived by him are achieved by the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust by following his footsteps. Various valuable suggestions were also made by them in the meeting. The family members of Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary (Trustees), Mazahir Rana President All India Gurjar Mahasabha, District Saharnpur U.P., and Shamsher Ali Badana General Secretary of Mahasabha from Uttrakhand Haridwar also participated in the meeting and grace the occasion for releasing of Calendar and spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary in the field of Education, preserving the culture, language and rich heritage of Gujjars in the erstwhile State.
The function was attended by the trustees and galaxy of senior citizens, dignitaries and heads of various social organizations. Those who were present and spoke on the occasion include Haji Allah Rahim - former Chairman, Hamid Hussain Vice-Chairman, Dr. Miraj-u-Din Financial Advisor, Bashir Ahmed Noor, Showkat Javed, Madam Nighat Sultana, Dr. Javed Rahi, Arfat Masud, Khalil Paswal, Mohd. Ibrahim, Showkat Choudhary, Khaliq Choudhary, Showkat Parveiz, Bashir Ahmed Khatana, Aslam Khan, Saleem Mohd., Master Mushtaq Ahmed Khatana, Mohd. Zulkarnain Advocate, Mushtaq Ahmed Advocate, Mohd. Amin, Zafar Advocate, Parveiz Advocate, Liyaqat Ali, Jamat Ali, Jameel Choudhary, Javed Choudhan and many others.
