| Benam Tosh adheres ranks to promoted officers | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Jan 4: Senior Superintendent of Police Benam Tosh adhered ranks to the officers promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors (SIs) and felicitated them at an impressive pipping ceremony organized at IRP 19th Battalion Headquarters Kathua where Deputy SP Deepak Tufchi and Deputy SP Daljit Singh among hundreds of other officers and Jawans were present.
The promoted officers who were decorated on the occasion included : Gagan Singh, Jaspal Singh, Joginder Lal, Joginder Singh, Devi Singh, Dev Raj, Ram Lal, Kishori Lal, Swarn Singh and Rameshwar. The promoted Officers also shared their experiences in brief.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Benam Tosh Commandant IR-19th Bn told that all the newly elevated officers belong to district Kathua and are having put in over 40 years of unblemished services in Police Department in all the three regions of erstwhile J&K state viz, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh . Benam Tosh further told that some of these officers are highly decorated and recipients of prestigious Indian medals for meritorious services. Moreover, some of these officers are having undergone NSG Commando courses, UAC courses , weapon courses and have been imparted training to the Gazetted Police officers as well. Commandant congratulated the promoted officers and their families and hoped that they would come up to the expectation of the department and would perform duties with dedication and honesty in the days to come.
