Not 'Amrit Kaal' Budget but people's passport to 'Vish Kaal': Namrta
2/4/2023 10:29:12 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 4: Namrta Sharma, President Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Women Wing, Jammu and Kashmir while terming the Budget 2023-24 presented by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament as the worst budget of the nation till date, has lamented that it has utterly disappointed the women of this traumatized region as it has nothing specific for the women of Jammu and Kashmir to rejoice.
In a statement issued to media here today, Namrta Sharma castigated the Modi led BJP Govt at the Centre saying that while analyzing the Budget in totality it can only be concluded that it provides no relief at all to the nation's farmers, soldiers, women, children and youth. Frowning at the BJP leaders for calling it the 'Amrit Kaal' Budget, she said that the Finance Minister has left no stone unturned in framing it as passport for the common people's entry into the 'Vish Kaal'.
The senior AAP leader said that this is the 'Most Lackluster' budget and on the face of it reveals that no efforts have been made in formulation of this fiscal document not to talk of any serious application of mind. She asserted that it seems that Modi Government is focused more on retaining power than rather than using it for the welfare of the common man and the nation at large.
Moreover, the BJP's claims of the highest ever budget allocation in J&K's Budget can't befool the people of this Union Territory as they are already witnessing that development works are confined to papers only with ground results being zero. So whatever be the funds allocated to the region, these will only benefit the vested interests especially those in bureaucracy with the common people being as usual left to fend for themselves and at the mercy of God, she added.
