Dy mayor JMC kick starts development work

JAMMU, Feb 6: The Deputy Mayor Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria along with Corporator Ward No. 12, Former Chairman JMC Jeet Angral started the concrete slab development work near the back side of Guru Ravidass Mandir Krishna Nagar Ward No 12. The Deputy Mayor was accompanied by Executive Engineer, AEE, JMC officials and the estimated cost of the project is 37.40 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria praised the efforts of the Corporator of Ward No. 12 for completing 5 feet of road winding up to 22 with concrete work. He attributed the completion of the project to the vision of Road and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari ji to construct roads with concrete work to reduce the cost of work with the good quality of work. He said that the locals of the area were facing a lot of inconvenience due to the lack of proper road connectivity and other basic amenities. He also appreciated the dedication and hard work of the Corporator for completing the work in a timely and efficient manner. He appealed to the people of the area to cooperate with the JMC and extend their full support in the completion of the works.
Former Chairman Jeet Angral welcomed Deputy Mayor for his ward and said that it was a long pending demand of the public. At first it was a 5 feet road and it was very difficult for emergency vehicles to get inside the area during the time of emergency. He said that he has put up a resolution for a 20 feet road in the house which has been passed. It is due to the efforts of members of the community that this project has been approved and a 22 feet concrete road. He also said that this up gradation was long awaited demand of residents this road will provide a better connectivity to the residents of the ward and his goal is to make ward no.12 a modern ward of Jammu City.
The Corporator Ward 12 Jeet Angral and other workers who were present during the ocassion said that variuos ocassion and incitives that he has undertaking for the betterment of the city. We are grateful for Deputy Mayor Jammu's hard work and dedication to the citizens of Jammu. He has been a leader in ensuring that the JMC remains a safe, clean and vibrant city for all. His commitment to the betterment of the citizens of Jammu through his tireless efforts and dedication will be remembered for generations to come. We thank him for his service to Jammu.
