| Congress corporator holds press conference | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 3: Today Congress Corporator Ritu Choudhary held a press conference,in which they oppose the property tax bill that is going to be implemented from next month in Jammu and Kashmir .
While speaking to media Corporator Ritu Choudhary said that we are against this bill,and we oppose this bill as people suffer. She added that Jammu is in developing stage people hardly get basic facilities how will they be able to give property tax , Govt should reconsider this one more time. She said that this it's not the first time that this bill has been forced,we tried it not to be implemented,but now the government is going to implement this.
Ritu Choudhary added that property tax had been forced on people and we strongly oppose this.In last 2 months this issue was raised in house and Mayor Jammu assured us that this bill will not be implemented in J&K ,but the Govt has made it official now and people are left with no option.thier is 0% development in other things,we are requesting LG Govt to withdraw this notification because it's hard for people of Jammu to pay this tex.
At last Ritu also said the same,he further added that how can poor man pay property tex when he hardly earns money to meet his daily needs. There are other important things that need to be considered first ,so we request LG Govt to withdraw this bill as much as possible. |
