| Dental College gets Dean, faculty of Dental Sciences | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 4: This is for the first time that the Dental Sciences has been taken as the independent entity by the Excellency of Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of Jammu University, Jammu in 87th University council Resolution No. 87.42 dated 21-01-2023 issued under endorsement No. F.Acd/II/23/12388-12467 dated 03-03-2023 by creating Dean of Dental Sciences. Moreover Administrative Department of Health & Medical Education had played a pivotal role.
Dr. Rakesh Krishan Gupta, Principal, Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College, Jammu has been nominated as first Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences for the remaining triennial period 2021-2024 w.e.f. 03-03-2023.
In addition, the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College, Jammu and Institute of Dental Sciences, Sehora, Jammu have also been created and notified.
With pass of this resolution and elevation of Dental Sciences as independent entity will go in long way to improve academics in Dental Sciences. |
