Congress leader Ajay Jamwal, supporters join Bharatiya Janata Party

JAMMU, Mar 7: Congress leader Ajay Jamwal along with supporters joined Bharatiya Janata party. He hit at the Congress after joining the saffron party in the presence of BJP senior leaders, today joined BJP in a program held at the party's headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu in presence of President Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supremo J&K.UT Ravinder Raina, Ex-Deputy CM, J&K, Kavinder Gupta, District President Rekha Mahajan, Former MLCs Vikram Randhawa and Sr. Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, Seh Prabhari Jammu North Vinay Gupta, Ajay Gupta Pargal, Mandal President Neeraj Lucky puri, Ankush gupta, Akash Chopra, Pushpinder Charak Mandal Secretary Rajinder Koul, and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.
Neeraj Puri organized and conducted the proceedings of the joining program and welcomes Congress leader Ajay Jamwal along with supporters.
Ravinder Raina while speaking on the occasion said, decided to leave the Congress because he was inspired to join in the development works led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wants to join the BJP to work for the people. Jammu and Kashmir is set to make history, the BJP is all set to return to power there," Ravinder Raina added. Raina said the Congress is ruled by one family and Sonia Gandhi's return to the helm of party affairs recently proves that. He said the Congress is not able to find a single leader out of the Nehru-Gandhi family and the time will come soon when it will not be able to find even a single activist outside the clan in J&K also.
Kavinder Gupta spoke out while welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, He stated BJP party is a perfect blend of patriotism and professionalism which acts as a catalyst in its growth. Kavinder said that the party can pave the way for a new India which is evident in decisions taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Article 370. He said the scrapping of provisions of Article 370 has undone all the "mischief" Jammu and Kashmir was subjected to in the past decades. "Now there is right to vote for everyone in the union territory of J&K, and this is possible due to the party's ideology of keeping the nation first," he said.
Rekha Mahajan, while welcoming the Congress leader Ajay Jamwal along with supporters into the party fold. She said that the public-friendly policies of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's Government have created a niche in the hearts of people. Rekha also threw light on various development works initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union Government for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir and the plethora of schemes that have benefitted people on the grass root level. Rekha highlighted BJP embarking toward historical victory in J&K in upcoming elections.
Meanwhile, Ajay Jamwal hit out at the Congress and said, Congress is now directionless in the state, there is no leader, no vision, and no workers at the grassroots. There is only family fiefdoms. Being at the helm of affairs, I could see what's happening," he said.
