Old age home inhabitants spend day in picnic with Hira Lal Abrol

JAMMU, Mar 14: Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, Healthy India Stronger India (HISI) and MV International School organised a one-day picnic for the inhabitants of old-age home Amphala, Jammu. It was a very happy day for the old and infirm people of the old-age home to come out of their fixed schedule and enjoy a day to rejuvenate and recreate memories. Earlier, they were transported in a bus to the famous 'Bawe Wali Mata Temple' where special darshan were organised by the Mahant Bitta Ji who had 'one to one interaction' with the visitors; he distributed prashad and tea to them. Later the picnic was taken to Bagh-e-Bahu, where special arrangements were made by hira lal abrol for a dance and laughter show by organisers from Healthy India Strong India. All the people shared their real-life stories and filled the atmosphere with emotions of sweet memories that everybody was carrying. Towards the end, a cake cutting ceremony was organised which was relished by all the picnic goers. Team of Healthy India Stronger India had made special arrangements of wheelchairs to ensure hassle-free movement of all individuals. The day concluded with a presentation of Tulsi Mala and refreshments to all the people.
Healthy India, Stronger India is an NGO founded by its Chairman, Sh. Hira Lal Abrol. This NGO is running a 'Free Training Centre' for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. This NGO runs a 'Free Training Centre' that offers 3 months free courses in Basic Computers, Cutting & Tailoring Classes, Beautician Course, Vocal Music, Dance as well as Free Library to needy and poor children from BPL families. Nearly 6550 students have passed out, after successful completion of courses from this centre. They have been placed in various organisations, some of them have even started their own ventures.
Hira Lal Abrol thanked the President of the old age home ID Soni and Secretary Balgotra for giving an opportunity to the team of HISI for this unique opportunity to serve the people to enjoy their day and relive their happy memories. along with the members of Healthy India Stronger India Vinod Manhas, Ramneek Sharma & Akhil Sharma who accompanied the picnic.
