Jammu, Mar 19: In an attempt to bring this positive change, Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) collaborated with Helping Hands Jammu and along with the support of Talla Jewellers distributed stationery items includes Notebooks, Pencils, Erasers, Sharpeners, Scales, Pens, Cardboards, Drawing Pads, Colours, Sketch Pens, Geometry boxes etc and eatables to the slum kids enrolled under the initiative “MISSION MAKE” - Make All Kids Educated at Jullakha Moholla, Circular Road, Jammu under the guidance of Mr. Vivek Parihar, Director & CEO LFO-BHF (NGO).
Members of LFO-BHF are being educating less fortunate children for free of cost. It’s been more than a year and counting that the volunteers of LFO-BHF committed in providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
On speaking with Ms. Stuti General Secretary (Jammu Province) of LFO-BHF said, “Our NGO is commited for education for underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poor parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered”.
On speaking with Ms. Jyoti, Media Incharge of LFO-BHF said, “Our vision is to work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children with a life-cycle approach to development”.
