JAMMU, Mar 26: Today a grand cultural Festival was organised in the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Jagti with a huge number of audience in the presence of Mr Suhail Qazmi Hon’ble Member of Wakhpur J&K.
A grand show of Folk Festival (Hanze) , Rouf Dance, Bach-e-Nagmeh, Kashmiri Chakri, Dogri Dance , Punjabi Dance was presented during the programme which enthralled the audience including the dignitaries. This Festival is organised to promote the Kashmiri pandits, Artist’s to showcase their Talent.
Awards were given to Top Five Talented students of kashmiri pandits,few more Awards to participants , information and felicitations were also given away by the Sh. Kavinder Gupta “Formal Deputy Chief minister J&K” (BJP).
While speaking on the occasion Former Chief Minister of J&K (BJP) reiterated the importance of art & Culture of Kashmir. He said this is the best cultural Festival in Jagti (which is promoted by the Kashmiri pandit Artist’s). Further said that the government is working for the betterment of all Artists. He assured for the cultural programs in future, so that all artists renowned and new talent will get the chance to perform.
