JKPCC Chief leads day long Satyagrah

Jammu, Mar 26: Congress today held a day long Satyagrah at Gandhi Chowk, Satwari, as part of Nationwide protest dharnas at all state &district Hqs in the country against the policies of suppression of Modi government and in order to express solidarity with their Leader Rahul Gandhi.
In Jammu the Satyagrah was held at Gandhi Chowk Satwari which was led by President JKPCC Shri Vikar Rasool Wani accompanied by Working President Raman Bhalla, besides Shri Mula Ram, Yogesh Sawhney, Manmohan Singh, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Indu Pawar, Hari Singh Chib, Ved Mahajan ,T S Bajwa, and joined by several senior leaders including ,Pawan Raina,Shashi Sharma, Sanjeev Panda, Narinder Sharma, Thomas Khokhar, Satish Sharma,Suresh Dogra, Karan Bhagat, Udey Chib, Pranab Shagotra, Vijay Sharma, col Swarn Singh, Rajveer Singh, Bhushan Dogra,Narinder Gupta, sonu Dogra Corporators Ch Dwarka,Rajinder Singh Ritu Chaudhary, Amrit Bali,Dr R K Khajuria,Sahil Sharma, Rajinder Singh Nathu, Rajesh SharmaTammana, Vijay Shastri Badri Nath,Bhavishya Sudan, Jatin Raina, Suman Chaudhary, Pawan Singh, Sat Pal Spolia, Virinder Singh, Jatinder Bhagat, Girmeet Singh, Shashi,Janak Mehra, Suraj Langeh , Vijay Malhotra, Pawan Sharma, Rangeel singh and several other prominent party leaders and large number of workers joined the day long dharna.
They raised slogans in favour of Rahul Gandhi and Congress party. "Rahul Gandhi aahe bado, hum tumhare sath hain"
In Sringar too , a large number of senior Congress leaders and workers held a strong protest Dharna at party Hq at Maulana Azad Road. They were not allowed by the police .
Besides in different districts Hqs similar satyagrah were held on the call of AICC and JKPCC.
Addressing media persons at the site of dharna, at Satwari Chowk today, JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani lashed out at the BJP and Modi government for unleashing an undeclared emergency in the country. He said that Modi government wants to crush the opposition by hook or crook and misusing the constitutional and other agencies to suppress the opposition leaders and implicate them in false cases.
Modi government wants to silence all those who speak against the government and the freedom of speech has been curtailed and common citizens have no right to speak against government and it's policies.
He said BJP can silence the voice of Rahul Gandhi in the parliament but can't silence his voice amongst 1.40cr citizens of this country. Congress party shall continue its Satyagrah to protect the freedom of the common citizens of this country.
Raman Bhalla strongly criticised the modi government for it's dictatorial policies to crush the voice of dissent in the country. He said Congress party under the Leadership of Rahul Gandhi shall continue to fight for the rights of the people and raise the issues of common people, youth poor people despite all attempts to crush the voice of opposition.
Bhalla said that Congress will not be cowed down by the authoritarian policies of Modi Government and we shall fight out such anti democratic policies of BJP.
Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma strongly lashed out at the Modi government for its policy of suppression of the voice of dissent in the largest democracy in the world. He said that congrss party shall continue to fight to protect freedom of speech and dissent in this country.
The peacef dharna at Gandhi Chowk Satwari continued from 10am to 5pm in the evening.
