India sends a clear message
3/31/2023 11:55:04 PM
India’s leadership during the past few years has worked hard to ensure that the country’s borders remain ‘fully secure.’ It has sent a clear message to the world that anyone who looks towards India would be given a befitting reply.
The 2016 surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army by crossing the Line of Control and Balakot airstrikes in 2019 sent a clear message to terrorists and their bosses that India won’t tolerate any misadventure.
After Narendra Modi took over the reins of the country in 2014, he made it explicitly clear that terror and talks won’t go together. He tried mending fences with Pakistan but he realized that India’s unruly neighbor can’t be trusted. And it needs to be taught a lesson in a language which it understands.
During PM Modi’s tenure stern measures have been taken to end the terrorism and its eco system within the country. The terrorist supporters have been identified and nailed. Whether it has been the standoff with China or any ill intentions from Pakistan, Indian armed forces have given a befitting reply. India has led the world on issues like terrorism and has been successful in garnering support to eliminate the menace. A strong and clear message has gone to the world that India has the strength and it can strike against terrorism on its own soil, and if need be, on the foreign soil as well.
India has never been an aggressor but the leadership has sent a strong message that New Delhi’s desire for peace shouldn’t be misconstrued as its weakness. The government has exhibited a strong will to tackle the threats to internal and external security of the country. It has driven home a point that no one will be allowed to interfere in the internal matters of India. On the diplomatic front, India to a great extent has succeeded in isolating and exposing Pakistan. As of date the entire world has turned its back towards Pakistan and has made it clear to the rulers that they cannot use terrorism as an instrument of its state’s policy. India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the fifth largest economy of the world and has achieved many milestones during the past eight years. The dispensation led by PM Modi has taken the bull by its horns and has broken the back of terrorists and their sponsors.
