Randhawa hails LG for securing 24th Rank amongst powerful Indians

JAMMU, Apr 1: Former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vikram Randhawa met Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and discussed various issues pertaining to J&K.
Former Legislator Vikram Randhawa first congratulated Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for securing 24th Rank amongst the powerful Indians.
He also appreciated the efforts being made by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha towards development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Former Legislator Vikram Randhawa also appreciated the working of the Geology and Mining Department, which under the able guidance of its Secretary Amit Sharma are taking every possible steps to wipe out Mining Mafia from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He also appreciated the efforts being made by the Secretary Geology and Mining Department Amit Sharma to curb illegal mining.
"Due to illegal mining, people of Jammu and Kashmir were facing manifold problems and strictness of the Geology and Mining Department has provided a major relief to them", Randhawa said, adding that now people are able to purchase the construction materials on nominal rates.
He added that all the District Mining Officers are doing their best to generate revenue for the Government.
"Due to illegal mining, the Government was facing huge loss and now with the efforts of the Geology and Mining Department Officers, Government is receiving good revenue", Randhawa maintained.
Randhawa also apprised Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha about various development works being carried out him in RS Pura Jammu South Assembly Segment.
He also discussed various issues pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
To the issues being raised by Former Legislator Vikram Randhawa, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid patient hearing and assured redressal.
Randhawa also expressed gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for taking Jammu and Kashmir to new heights by initiating various development works.
