MS Police Hospital aware about medical facilities

JAMMU, Apr 5: Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal, Medical Superintendent Police Hospital- Jammu alongwith team of doctors visited Police IRP 15thLadies Battalion, Gulshan Ground Jammu to make aware all the ladies / other staff of the said battalion regarding medical facilities being provided at Police Hospital Jammu. The other members of the team were Mubassir Latiffi, JKPS Commandant IRP 15th Bn. DPL Jammu, Dr. Shalini Dogra, Gynecologist, Dr. Shaista Tabassum, Dental Surgeon, Dr. Shagufta Choudhary, Medical Officer IRP 15th Bn. & Physiotherapist Kriti Gupta.
Medical Superintendent also stressed upon all the staff of the battalion to avail the facilities which are being provided at Police Hospital, Jammu and also to inform their parents to avail the same that too free of cost. Shri Mubassir Latiffi, JKPS CO IRP 15th Bn. Gulshan Ground Jammu expressed his gratitude and thanks to Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal, Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Jammu for organizing such a useful and informative session for better health and well-being of police jawans and their families. The visiting doctors who accompanied MS PHJ also delivered lectures on their respective specializations to the participants and gave clarion call to them to disseminate useful health information provided by the visiting doctors at battalion headquarters.
Furthermore, Medical Superintendent said that in the coming days she would chalk out a programme to check the Jawans who need any medical help. She requested CO IRP 15th Bn. to send their staff in a phased manner to Police Hospital Jammu so that they could be screened and thoroughly checked-up so that they can easily identify the symptoms, problems (Physical or psychological) being faced by the Jawans to get treated well in time. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Dy.Sp Usha Kher of IRP 15th Bn. Gulshan Ground Jammu Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
