JAMMU, Apr 14: On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration Committee took out a huge bike rally on 14th April to inform people about the biography and services of Dr. Ambedkar. In the huge bike rally, people participated in the rally carrying banners, flags and made people aware. The rally started from Dablehar, from there the rally reached Ambedkar Chowk, RS Pura via Chak Mohammad Yar, after paying floral tributes in front of the statue of Dr. Ambedkar, proceeding from there via Chahala, Chak Aslam, Sharma Palace, ended at Dablehar. In the Sharma Palace, the speakers threw light on the biography of Baba Sahib Ambedkar and called him the messiah of the poor and backward society. Addressing on the occasion Dr. Preeti Bhagat, convenor of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration Committee, said that Dr. BR Ambedkar who gave a better constitution to the country. Secured the rights of poor people. People should have complete information about this great man. That's why a bike rally has been organized so that Dr. Ambedkar's ideology and thoughts can reach the people. Preeti Bhagat said that Dr. Ambedkar is the messiah of the poor people. He gave his life for the upliftment of poor, backward class people. Today it is our duty to follow the path shown by him and do good to the society. While paying tribute to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, social worker and president of Border Welfare Organization JK, Avinash Chaudhary said that Baba Saheb has struggled a lot in his life. His struggle to give rights to the backward and deprived people is a source of inspiration for the young generation. People should give good education to their children so that they can contribute in the development of the society and the country. Avinash said that we all should live together in unity and help the poor people of every section of the country to get their rights, along with this, due to a large-scale conspiracy, our young generation is being exposed to narcotics and chitta. Anti-national people are constantly trying to eradicate poison, for which we all have to break our silence and come forward openly against such evil practices so that if the young generation is saved then our country will be saved, this will be a true tribute to Baba Sahib Ambedkar ji. In this program, children also presented presentations based on Ambedkar and society. After which Dr. Preeti Bhagat gave a presentation on women empowerment, women's rights in the constitution and the special work done by Babasaheb Ambedkar for women through power point presentation, and they were explained in detail. After this, about 80 influential children from different classes, who have scored good marks in class 8th, 10th and 12th, were also honored by Dr. Preeti. After this, Chairman of Border Welfare Organization and social worker Avinash Chaudhary was also honored with a special award for working for the betterment of the society.
