Super-Specialty medical camp held at GMC Doda

DODA, Apr 17: The District Administration Doda is committed to make available the Super Specialists to benefit the poor who can't bear the cost of moving out to super speciality hospitals.
In this regard, a free medical/ consultation camp was held in the OPD Block of Associated Hospital GMC Doda under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan. Dr Vijant Singh Chandail, Associate Professor in GMC Jammu and renowned Gastroenterologist of the UT consulted the patients of the district. It was his second free consultation camp here in Doda.
The follow up patients and new patients were checked up throughout the day in the camp. The patients and their attendants expressed gratitude to the visiting doctor and District Administration for the camp, which saved their time, money, and lives.
The free consultation camp was held under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) and ADBHUT Doda Initiative of the District Administration.
The DC, in his message, has urged the public to stay vigilant against the recent Covid-19 surge, though not to panic. He informed that the District Administration has started a war against Tuberculosis and is striving to make this district TB free by the end of this year. "The public is requested to join hands with the District Administration in the fight against TB and other dreadful diseases" he added.
