JAMMU, May 3: Parivar Milan cum election of office bearers of Bharat Vikas Parishad Bahu Branch was held at Mint Leaf Restaurant Marble Market. Which commences with enlightening the traditional lamp in the esteem presence of senior dignitaries. President Vijay Arora read the annual report that includes activities done under different projects of Seva and Sanskar by visiting different schools. Guru Vandhan Chattar Abhinandan was to make them aware of the place of Guru in shaping their personality to achieve their goals in life. Wherein Group Song Competitions to imbibe in them the spirit of patriotism and dedication towards their Nation and Bharat ko jano to bring awareness about the history, geography, religion, and culture of their nation under sewa projects. Donations of woolen clothes stationary educational toys and books on moral values etc were distributed among the students.
The team of Bharat Vikas Parishad thanked Rekha Mahajan BJP President of District Jammu South and Sunil Mahajan for their donation of Rs 5000 for the sewa project for which they were awarded Momemtos on Republic Day Celebration. Rekha Mahajan and Sunil Mahajan also share their views amongst them.
Furthermore, Lectures on awareness about their health and hygiene were given to girls by visiting different schools and also on their self-defense adoption of two girls by Dr. Rachna Gupta for spending on every need of theirs apart from studies for which she was awarded Momemto on Republic Day Celebration. The Branch celebrated National functions like Independence Day and Republic Day and Religious functions with great zeal and enthusiasm. DP Arora the Coordinator of the Branch read the financial report on this occasion and the election was held in the presence of observer Arun Gupta Regional Secretary's North and Patron Dr Santosh Gupta President, Vijay Arora was unanimously elected to continue as a President for another one year, Secretary Monika Khosla, Treasurer Mohini Manhas the newly elected PST team assured for their dedication towards their assignments.The function ended with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem. Prominent among others were Purshtam Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Rajesh Bhatia, Sunil Mahajan, Dr. Rachna, Pawan Kohli, G B Kohli, Harshwardhan, Ashok Sood and SC Sharma.
