Dr Samoon distributes Job offer letters to ITI pass outs

JAMMU, May 16: Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary of the Skill Development Department, distributed job offer letters among students who have successfully completed their courses at various government ITIs. The selected candidates, from different trades, have been offered trainee positions with "Staffing Solutions Quess Corporation Limited." Dr. Samoon expressed the department's commitment to exploring job opportunities for ITI graduates and conducting placement drives to provide them with employment in different sectors. He congratulated the selected students and encouraged them to perform their jobs with dedication and sincerity. He also extended gratitude to the company for providing job opportunities to ITI students.
Director of the Skill Development Department, Sudershan Kumar, was present during the distribution ceremony.
Additionally, Dr. Samoon chaired a meeting of Visiting/Village Prabhari Officers of the Skill Development Department as part of the Back to Village Phase 4 (B2V4) initiative. The meeting was attended by officials such as MD of Skill Development Mission, Leena Padha, Special Secretary of SDD, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, and Visiting/Village Prabhari Officers who joined virtually.
During the meeting, Dr. Samoon instructed the officers to follow up on pending issues of Panchayats and ensure their resolution. He emphasized the importance of organizing monthly panchayat-level meetings, involving all village-level officers and virtual participation of Village Prabhari Officers.
Dr. Samoon also emphasized the integration of village development plans with district and Capital Expenditure (Capex) budgets, as well as other centrally sponsored schemes across departments. He stressed the need for regular monitoring of the deliverables of various departments.
The participating officers provided updates on the actions taken regarding the issues and challenges identified during the B2V4 program.
