RAJOURI, May 16: Shalini Khokher, from border Village Gania of Nowshera subdivision, a thriving entrepreneur in the beauty parlour business, has a remarkable story that exemplifies the power of opportunity and support. However, after the abrogation of Article 370, a new ray of hope emerged for the girls like Shalini, and a number of women-centric schemes were launched.

Shalini narrated that she had applied for the Tejaswani scheme and was pleasantly surprised when the district administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, immediately sanctioned the subsidized loan in her favor.
