BARAMULLA, May 17: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar flags off vehicles for distribution of educational equipment under Samgraha Siksha, ADP
BARAMULLA, MAY 17: The District Administration of Baramulla is dedicated to establishing smart classrooms in Kindergarten and other schools, equipping them with essential and sophisticated educational equipment under the Samgraha Shiksha and Aspirational District Programme (ADP).
During a function at Government Boys High School Deewanbagh, DC Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar emphasized the importance of integrating the latest technology into government schools, particularly in remote areas of the district, to enhance the teaching-learning experience.
In the presence of Chief Education Officer Baramulla Balbir Singh Raina, District Information Officer Jahangeer Akhoon, and other officials, the DC flagged off vehicles carrying waterproof tents, utensils, gas stoves, LEDs, and other electronic gadgets for distribution to kindergartens and other schools in Baramulla under the Aspirational District Programme and Samgraha Shiksha Scheme.
The Chief Education Officer stated that these equipment were distributed to 85 schools with KG material, 100 schools with utensils and gas, and 36 schools with waterproof tents and LEDs across the 18 zones of Baramulla district. Additional distributions will be conducted to support the re-enrollment of dropout students.
Addressing the gathering, the DC highlighted the administration's ongoing efforts to equip, upgrade, and modernize government schools, with the goal of providing quality education and fostering community involvement in educational institutions.
Furthermore, the DC mentioned that initiatives are underway to provide similar facilities to all schools in the district in a phased manner under the ADP and Samgraha Shiksha Scheme.
