Successful conclusion of the 4th phase of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan in Reasi District

Reasi, May 17: The Kissan Sampark Abhiyan’s fourth phase was successfully concluded in all 12 blocks of Reasi District under the guidance of Sh. K.K. Sharma, Director of Agriculture, Jammu, and with the close monitoring of Harbans Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer Reasi (DNO HADP), and the participation of agricultural resource persons and PRI members.
The training sessions were conducted using audio-visual aids in various venues across the district, where farmers were educated about the Daksh Kissan (online learning portal) and KISSAN SATHI (IT Dashboard) for the digitalization of schemes and services. Informative booklets on HADP schemes were distributed among farmers in three languages.
The training programs were attended by important dignitaries such as BDC Chairman of Block Panthal, Chander Mohan Singh, and AEO Katra, who participated in the training session in Panchayat Sool. ADDC Reasi, along with the Chief Horticulture Officer and Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, attended the program in Panchayat Seela, where two smart KCC cards were issued. Chief Agriculture Officer Reasi, along with the Sub-Division Agriculture Officer, attended the training program in Panchayat Bharakh, block Pouni.
Additionally, a baseline survey of 1559 farmers was completed as part of the skill gap study conducted by appointed personnel. The Kissan Sampark Abhiyan has been instrumental in providing valuable knowledge and support to the farming community in Reasi District.
