5/23/2023 10:52:30 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, May 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu district has launched extensive public outreach programs to mark the upcoming G20 Summit in Jammu and Kashmir. Under the leadership of Jammu South President, Rekha Mahajan, the party has initiated the "Jan Sampark Abhiyaan" in RS Pura Constituency, Mira Sahib Mandal.
A working committee meeting was held in RS Pura, with Mandal President Bikram Sandhu in attendance, along with DDC members, Municipal Committee Chairman, district secretaries, and other party officials.
During the meeting, Rekha Mahajan outlined the plan for the month-long outreach campaign, "Maha Jansampark Abhiyaan," which will begin on May 30, coinciding with the completion of nine years of the Modi government, and continue until June 30.
She urged all party workers to engage with the local communities and create awareness about the various government schemes initiated under Prime Minister Modi's leadership in Jammu South District.
While touring the RS Pura Constituency, Rekha Mahajan emphasized the significance of the G20 Summit taking place in Jammu and Kashmir.
She highlighted that since the abrogation of Article 370, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has emerged as a rising superpower. Rekha Mahajan expressed pride in J&K hosting an international event like the G20 Summit for the first time in 70 years. She stated that the occasion presents an opportunity for the union territory to showcase its market potential and ecotourism ventures. Rekha Mahajan further commented, "The G20 Summit in Kashmir will boost tourism in J&K and serve as a platform to showcase the state's beauty to the world.
This is a proud moment for every Kashmiri and Dogra, and a significant milestone for the tourism sector." She also highlighted the active participation of the general public, including students, in various events leading up to the main summit.
