SPMR Commerce College organizes Nukkad Natak

JAMMU, June 1: NSS Units, Eco Club and Department of Environmental Sciences of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu organized Nukkad Natak and carried out Beautification of the College Campus on the 3rd day of special summer camp to celebrate Environment week on 1st of June, 2023 under the aegis of G20 and Mission Life. On the Occasion, Students beautified the college walls with different paintings depicting nature. Slogans on "Say No to Drugs" were also written on various walls of the college. The vertical garden of the college was also decorated with different colours. Old tyres were also painted in beautiful patterns for making wall hanging, swings and flower beds. Later students performed Nukkad Nattak on the theme "Drug De addiction" in the college auditorium. The aim of the Nukkad Natak was to spread awareness among the youth regarding the ill effects of drug use. Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal of the college lauded the efforts of the NSS Units, Eco Club and Department of Environmental sciences for organizing such events which lead to artistic expression by the students and beautification of the college campus.The whole programme was coordinated and managed by Dr. Nazia Rasool, Prof. Deepshikha Sharma, Dr. Deepak Pathania, Prof. Apfan Ali, Dr. Jagmeet Kour, Dr. Sarabjeet Kour Sudan, Dr. Fayza and Prof. Rishu Mahajan.
